Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a values based approach. Instead of trying to eliminate uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, ACT teaches you to accept them as natural parts of life - then committing to taking actions that align with your value and goals.

At the heart of ACT is psychological flexibility: the ability to stay grounded in the present moment, observe internal experiences without being overly impacted by them, and engage in actions that align with what truly matters to you.

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, evidenced based psychotherapy model. It views the mind as an internal family of distinct "parts" such as managers, exiles, and firefighters - each holding its own feelings, motivations, and roles.

Rather than fighting these parts, IFS helps you connect with your core self - a calm, curious, compassionate leader capable of guiding and harmonizing your internal system using its natural qualities. Through dialogue, visualization, and gentle curiosity, you learn to help wonder parts heal, protectors relax, and restore balance and inner peace.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a gentle, body-centered approach to healing trauma and restoring emotional resilience. Grounded in neuroscience and the body's natural capacity to heal, SE views trauma not as an event itself, but as the body's incomplete response to overwhelming experiences. Rather than focusing solely on thoughts or memories, SE invites you to tune into physical sensations to safely release stuck survival energy.

Through mindful awareness, slow pacing, and guided attention to subtle shifts in your body, SE helps you renegotiate trauma, restore a sense of safety, and reconnect with your innate vitality. By working with, rather than overriding the nervous system, SE supports lasting regulation, empowerment, and a deeper sense of wholeness from the inside out.
